Establishment: In the year 1990 officially social center was established and named “ Mahila Kalyan Kendra”.
Location: In a village – Lupungutu, PO – Bara-Guira Chaibasa, District- West- Singhbhum, State- Jharkhand.
Goal: Empowerment and development of women especially in the area of social, economic, education and political.
Vision: Being inspired by God, we envision communities where justice, harmony, compassion and care of the Earth are nurtured and sustained.
Mission: To bring about changes in ideologies, mindsets, systems and practices focusing on human dignity, human rights and the values of Indian Constitution.
Activities:
- Women empowerment and development especially social, economic and political.
- Formation of women’s Self Help Group.
- Income generation and Skill Development workshops and seminars for women and youth.
- Strengthening Gram Sabha.
- Environmental and Forest Rights.
- Child Rights and Counseling Therapy for Children.
- Leadership Trainings for Youth.
- Health and Hygiene and Adolescent Health.
- Migrant Workers.
- Leadership Trainings for Youth.
- Taking up the social issues of witchcraft, domestic violence and violence against women.
- Workshops and training on legal aid.
