Location : Situated in Mandair Village, Reham P.O., City: Tandwa, District: Chatra, State: Jharkhand: 825321, India.
Back ground of the work place:
Mandair is a backward and remote area, situated 60 KMs away from the District Chatra. Majority of the people are tribals, and they depend on agriculture and daily wage work for their livelihood. There is also a coal mines nearby and National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) is coming up. Many have lost their land and are displaced, and many more will be displaced soon. Due to mines people are at great loss like their land, forest, herbs, also lot of air pollution which affects directly human health.
Goal :
- To work for the growth and changes of our needy and exploited groups.
- To work with the women of Self-Help Group (SHG) to help them to become self-reliant.
- To study the social, political, economic and educational situations.
- Organise some awareness programme on community need based.
